How To Make Bra Purses!
Stop tossing out your old bras!

Instead save them and create these handy and useful Bra Purses.
A padded one made with lightweight Lycra will provide more stability, but any bra - from the smallest (make a change purse) to the largest will work just fine!
Things You'll Need
- Old bra
- Ribbon fringing or other trims and decorations
- Hot glue or craft glue
- Scissors

Steps:
- Start by removing the straps from the cups.
- Keep the cups together if you have the type of bra that allows it. If you separate the cups, simply glue them back together along the wire line.
- Glue the cups together to form the pouch part of the purse.
This bra was slightly open-cupped (deep plunge line) so it was glued up the side to form a deeper pouch.
- Glue the straps back on to form the handles. This can be short or long depending on the bag style.
Use the actual bra straps to keep the purse "Bra Looking" or use ribbon or a cord instead. Attach them to the top of the bra where the straps would normally sit.

- If you are using a strapless bra to make your purse, then just glue the handles into the inside edge of the cup.

- You can embellish your new bag by gluing on a variety of trims, ribbons and sequins to your desired style!
Obviously, if you want to make the fact that it is a recycled bra less apparant, add more decoration.
If you're a bit more outgoing, add little or no decoration, and see what your friends have to say when they first see it.
Tips
- These bra purses have been made famous by their use to promote awareness of Breast Cancer.
- If glue does not work, sew it together.
- Patterned bikini tops make bright and funky bags, and often look less like bras when finished.
