Cleaning Designer Fabric Handbags

Cleaning designer fabric handbags or designer canvas handbags is very easy. Just follow these simple steps.

  • Mild soap and a damp white cloth can be used on most canvas or fabric handbags. Remember to blot rather than rub as blotting will cause the stain to spread.

  • If the stain is stubborn, you can try using a toothbrush to gently scour the stain. However, be careful not to apply too much pressure while rubbing as this may cause damage to the fabric.

  • It's always a good idea to apply Scotch Guard to a new fabric handbag. This will keep it free from future stains and damage. Simply follow the instructions on the can and apply every six months or as needed.
