He later went to work for Louis Vuitton and became the fashion director of the company and is credited for there success with some famous styles that were created. The line can also be found in many major department stores from Neiman Marcus to Nordstroms. In 2007 he used Michael Stipe of Rock band REM in his latest ad campaign. This was a great marketing idea because it generated a lot of buzz about his company and his brand. The future looks bright for Marc Jacobs as the designer handbag market remains red hot for 2008.
